Nukkad Natak, a traditional form of street theatre, is used as a medium to spread awareness on social issues to the people. A key component of street plays is that the audience becomes part of the action and are not just spectators.

WeRise team believes that nukkad nataks are one of the best ways to engage youth and shed light on prevailing gender biases and menstruation taboos. We have developed street plays in collaboration with theatre groups and dramatics societies across Delhi. Our compositions are based on the following broad themes
